Canberra and Sydney

The capital of Oceania. Multiply the number 4 in terms of land and divide by 10 in terms of population. With population density of only 1.8km2, it is definietly a place that everyone would want to live. Kangaroos hopping aroud in this cooling sensation weather. Temperature which is far cooler then Singapore. It goes all the way to negative 3 at night and only as high as 13 in day time.
We went to this small town upon arrival. Its only up to around 6ha i believe. Its really amazing how people would travel long distances to get a bottle of drink. Getting down the bus is chiiling, the mist and wind. Make me feel like a lark. Hungry Jack's is everywhere but i did not have the chance to get it. Such a big continent, travelling hours and hours just to reach from one palce to the other. Cattles wearing clothings is a commonplace. I bet it is due to the slwoer pace of life there, having more leisure time to do all these. Our lodging was at Birrigai - A fantastic palce! i swear! Far from urban city. At night, kangaroos running or ver, looking up, u see Southern Cross, milky High way and Venus. Whole sky is filled with glittering stars. How nice. I pictured it with my eyes, not with my camera for i bring away memories from that place.
Woke up, and to my surprise, i was covered with mountains and bushes and castle koppies. I felt refreshed and relaxed. It wont ever experience that in Singapore. Get a deep breathe. No pollution nth. Thts the wonder of nature, Its spectecualr! Its magnificent! The night arrives at 5, where you get longer rest. Breakfast was great. Continental Breakfast. Bush Trekking was fun, minus the kangaroos and rabbits faeces though. The valley was such a great sight, Its just awesome. I cant describe it with words. Its definietly one palce that i would want to live in when i retire or even now. Turbulence in Murrumbidgee and it was freezing down there. It sends chill down my spine. My whole feet lost its senses that moment. Educational basis - i definitly learn alot there. Chased Kangaroos for over an hour back in Birrigai and it was definietly pleasant.
I always wanted to visit some overseas university and off i went to Australian National University plus checking out from birrigai. It was so sad. It's the best place of my life and i doubt i would go there ever again. Arrived there and it was big. Dom's passion enlighten me to strive ahrd for my dream. Canberra Botanic Garden was nice as well, the environmentalist take on the environment was firm. And we ahve to admit that global warming happens mainly due to human, we ahve the ability to tackle it but it's jsut the problems with politics. Should we ask ourself - have we done enough for mother earth?
Check in at YHA Blue MT. I sense racism - the Whites and Yellows. Shan't elaborate on it though.
Check out early morning. Went to Katoomba and Jenolan Cave. Amazing it was. Picture speaks a thuosand words. I shall uplaod pictures on my next post and you can take a look on it. Echo Point was amzing, we could see the Three Sister's at a great angle. The legend behind it makes it more interesting then ever. Glow Worm Tour at night. We went in to the rainforest that would eventually lead to the Grand Canyon. Off the lightings, close your eyes. Silence. Except for the sound by tributaries.
Went to Sydney the next day. Would it be a globalcity in the future? Perhaps, but defietly not in Canberra as it was too well planned. Everything in the form of right angles. Too many 'nationals' there. I thought i arrived in China when i was in the Chinatown in Sydney. Bunch of ABC's. I love it. had a few tour around and learn about the history. The Opera House and Sydney Harbour was fantastic as well.
FDO time. Shop like crazy.
I miss Sydney, but i miss Canberra more.
Except for the mugging and safety, i love Australia.
